End of the Year Program

Kanyon is officially done with Preschool for the year. I'm not sure whether to be happy or sad about it. Happy that it means it's summer and we can have more freedom, but sad because he loves preschool and his friends there and I'm feeling pressure to have lots of fun things on the schedule every week when I'm mostly too tired to plan anything these days. ;)

Now if the weather would stay nice, then we would just swim and live outside... but it has yet to stay real nice for more than 2 days at a time so far. :/

Wednesday was Kanyon's last day of school and the day they did their little program for the parents. They were all so cute.

Here is Kanyon and his friend Gavin that he talks about daily, when they first walked in the room. Kanyon had just spotted his Grandma Jill and his Uncle Trent in the audience.

The whole bunch of them and his teacher, Mrs. Beach. Scarlett will have her next year and she's really excited because Kanyon has liked Mrs. Beach so much.
Kanyon's first speaking part.
Singing some songs...
His second speaking part.
More songs...
Getting his diploma from his teacher and giving her a hug.
Kanyon and his friend, Solee. They were carpool buddies this year and will be again next year in Pre-K. :)
It'll be so fun to have Kanyon and Scarlett at the same preschool together in the Fall. I'm also so glad we've decided not to send Kanyon to Kindergarden quite yet. He's ready academically, but I don't think I'm ready. ;) It'll just be me and the babies at home three mornings a week since I'll have just had this new little baby boy by the time school starts!

Way to go Kanyon! He seriously has the blondest hair I've ever seen, and I LOVE it.

Lindsay, I was thinking the same thing! I thought Dane was a toe head, but I think Kanyon has him beat. I know you won't regret waiting to send K to Kgarten. Wish I had waited with my first son. Learned that lesson. <3
