We only spent one day in the city this year on our trip because after that first day... well, we didn't want to go with 3 kids again! ;) The only day it rained on our trip was the day we decided to do the city... not such a good idea. But, we made it work!
We hit up Navy Pier, but I don't have any pictures of that because the rain forced everyone indoors and it was crowded. After that we went to the Willis Tower (formally known as the Sears Tower) to see the newest sky boxes they put in. No flash with me, so the windows are blown out, but visibility was only like 5 miles anyway. The kids didn't seem to mind though!
Note the pacifier on the floor in the picture above... you know it's the 3rd child when that is on the floor in a very public place with no concern. haha!
Kanyon and this toy... I'm not even sure where we got it. Probably some fast food joint along the way. He would not put it down for anything.
The only picture of me on this whole trip... and it is more of an outtake because I'm wrangling the 3 kids and trying to keep the older 2 from going where they shouldn't. :) It is a perfect snapshot of my life in it's truest form!
My shot of the family in the sky box... basically a glass box 103 stories off the ground. :) Just call us the "puma family"... I didn't realize we were all wearing pumas until this photo. Kind of funny.
Cohen seems concerned, but he had no idea where he was, of course.
We hit up a favorite place of mine just across the street from the tower, Panera Bread, for dinner before we headed out into the traffic back to Steve's Dad's place. We were tired... and those couple places took ALL DAY. :) You can see why we didn't return!
Steve and I decided that an extended weekend stay there in the city, minus children, is a must in the near future. :)

Looks like a lot of fun! I'm excited Cohen has started sleep better too. We want you join you on the minus the kids trip to Chicago!
I laughed out loud at the "pacifier on the floor" comment. It's so true, isn't it? Last night, Devin ate French fries and ice cream for dinner. There's NO WAY that would have been allowed when my oldest was Devin's age. Devin survived..and so did I.
love your sky box pictures, that is so crazy. what a fun trip!
Oh! This is so fun to see today. Ryan called me this morning from that tower. :) Apparently he LOVES Chicago and wants to take me back. So, I think we should plan a trip with you guys. :) We would have the ultimate tour guides.
I love your puma family!! What a cute picture!! I finally took the time to sit down and check out your chicago pictures!! What a fun trip!
