Color Bug

Scarlett is such a little coloring girl. Kanyon was not that way and still isn't one to want to color on a daily basis. It's fun to see differences in their personalities and what they like to do. I'm always getting asked to draw "supa why". She loves that show on PBS (Super Why) and I should probably learn to draw him better because it's a pretty sad job when I do it.
She asked to color bright and early this morning... notice her PJs and bed head still? She also is getting more cooperative for the camera and demands to see the picture I took right after. Then she just giggles.

Coloring came to an end very quickly when she decided not to use the paper anymore and my table got some decoration. She's learning, but it's taking a few hard lessons first. ;)

I'm counting this as my SP for week 5. The next one will be taken in Kauai... :) 3 days and counting.

wait.. are you potting training Scarlett? I just potty trained my almost 3 year old ;)
I think coloring is just part of the girl thing. I went into Ella school today and she ALWAYS chooses the art center. They say she is ALWAYS there. THey try to encourage her to move to a different center, but she REALLY enjoys the coloring and crafts.
When we are at home she is COLORING and crafting.
The teachers said they rarely see boys doing arts.
Who knows :)

Isn't it fun seeing the differences between little ones? I can't wait to see how the new baby compares to the first two. Scarlett is such a cutie. Look at all that hair coming in! Have an amazing time in Kauai. I can't wait to see pictures from there and pretend I'm there and not covered in snow. ;)

Lisa - no, not any potty training going on right now. I always wait until there is interest on their end and so far, she's happy as a clam in her diapers! :) On the art thing... 2 of the 3 of my brothers were majorly into drawing and art stuff, so I truly think it's just a personality thing and not so much gender. However, in this case it seems to be following that!

Sweet little girl! Love the light, especially in the first photo. Would Scarlett come teach Brady to color? He's not a fan.
