Back in the snow

We headed to Vegas Saturday morning and just returned today. Steve has a business convention down there at the Rio, so we rented a condo for 4 nights and enjoyed some beautiful 65-70 degree weather. Seriously, it made me really wish it were spring! Conveniently the condo was 2 miles from my sister's house and about the same from the Rio, so it was really perfect. Kanyon and Scarlett enjoyed playing with their cousins and Mical and I spent that time just hanging out. We even got away TWICE without husbands or kiddos. It was SO nice. :) I also got to see my long lost friend, Marleah, who I knew from Oregon. I hadn't seen her since I was pregnant with Scarlett 2 years ago, so it was great to see her too.

I can't believe I didn't take many pictures... I always seem to think I will, but it's so nice to just enjoy the moment that I seem to be forgetting to get out my camera these days. Here are the only 2 shots of the kids and it was as we were saying goodbye to them last night.

Callie (3.5), Kanyon (3.5), Caden (5.5), Cole (17 mos), Maddi (almost 8), and Scarlett (21 mos)...
Kanyon giving his best buddy, Caden, a hug goodbye...
He loves Caden and all his boy things. I never knew a little boy could enjoy dress up as much as a girl as long as it involved Batman, Spiderman, or Power Rangers. ;) My child was shedding his clothing the second we got in the house everyday to put on a different costume. Again, I should have taken pictures. It was too funny.

We are back, although Kanyon loved the "hotel" as he called it and Scarlett did too, we're glad to be home in our own beds!

LOVED having you guys here to play with everyday! Callie asked today if she could play with Kanyon. :( Poor thing was bored stiff!

Hey! I just found the link to your photography blog. It's sooo good! I can't believe I didn't see it before. I loved the Mical's family Christmas card pic. How's the lovin' in the oven? Does it get easier? I hope you're doing great!
