My little cowgirl and cowboy (specifically "Woody" and "Jessie" from Toy Story 2, if you ask Kanyon) had so much fun trick or treating this year. It's kind of become a tradition it seems to go out with the Bird's and my parent's and little brother in our neighborhood. Kanyon and Paityn were pros this year and didn't need any coaxing to say "trick or treat" at the door and Scarlett was just trying to keep up. She knew she wanted the candy, but was a little slow in her costume getting up everyone's porch steps.
Ready to go in the wagon... a must with these 2 since they would rather ride than walk still.
Devin, Jen, Paityn, and Presley...
Peek-a-boo, cowboy...
Little Presley, looking so cute in her witch costume.
It was funny, when the kids got to this house, there was a motion sensor skeleton that slide down the door and screamed and they all stopped dead in their tracks about halfway up the walk... you can see Paityn still turned around unsure about this place and Kanyon finally being brave and leading the way. Although after he knocked, the skeleton screamed again and he jumped back again. Hey, you do what you have to do for the treats. ;)
My mom, assisting Scarlett near the end... and getting too dark for pictures!
Checking out the loot and sampling some.
Scarlett would hit everyone up and say, "open this!" They got their fill of sweets for sure.
And the only full body shot I got of them in their costumes that night. I whipped up the cow print vest and chaps for them last weekend... trying to look more like Woody and Jessie. ;)
Can you believe it's already November?? Christmas is around the corner...

They are so cute! I love how proud Kanyon looks of his Skittles. As for that talking skeleton thing, my kids would have been finished right there.
so cute! my buzz lightyear would have fit right in!
And look how cute the vest and chapps turned out!! I KNEW you could do this so cute. I looks like you had a fun night.
