The Coveted Trike

(day 141)

Kanyon has had his radio flyer tricycle since he was about 18 mos. It was a gift from Grandma Brenda and Grandpa Barry for Christmas one year. It also has become a source of much contention between my kids. Scarlett is so upset that he won't let her ride it. (well, she can't ride it, but she just wants to sit on it)
Notice the irritation in Kanyon's face, like "seriously, mom, put the camera down and do something."

So, Scarlett now has her own trike and now it's Kanyon that wants to ride her "cinderella bike". She is pretty good about it, but knows that this pink one is hers and uses that to her advantage. I think she's a little more manipulative than Kanyon ever was at this age. She amazes Steve and I with her smarts. ;)

Here she is below, crying just a little too much for the minor thing that just occurred. Gotta love girls! ;)

And a few other pics of us playing outside after dinner... it's been really warm here (in the 90s) and although I'm enjoying it better than the cold... I kind of missed Spring. Did we even have it??

She's been doing a lot of this today... hmmm. Nice.

"Oooh a potato bug!" Just about the only bug that Kanyon isn't scared of. hehe!

Sorry for the overload... I guess when you get pictures from me, you GET pictures. :D
