Happy V-Day!

(day 45)

This is the final card we sent out to family and a few friends. I thought it turned out pretty cute.

As for our evening? Steve and I are going to celebrate the right way on Saturday night. He's taking me to dinner at the restaurant that he took me to on our first V-day we were dating... La Caille. We were 18 and in love already. How fun would it be for me to dig up a picture. I have one of us on that night holding the obscene amount of flowers that he brought to my apartment that evening. I'll see what I can do.

So, here we are at almost 7pm tonight. :D Talk about a party!
I caught Scarlett mid leap to crawl. I thought it was kind of funny. She is so animated with tons of personality - gotta love those girls!
Kanyon is totally zoned out on Mickey's valentine's day episode. Notice the stamps on his hands and feet. He is so proud of those. He gets them from his Gymnastics coach at the end of class. It's totally his favorite part. (hmm, they are kind of hard to see in the picture unless you click on it)
And my Valentine... he works so hard that here he is asleep on the floor after playing with the kids. Poor guy needs a break.
He out did himself with these gorgeous tulips... my favorite. And a weekend ski trip (minus kiddos) scheduled and set in stone for the end of the month at Sundance. We need it and can put to use all the new snow clothes we just bought a couple of weeks ago. Can't wait!

Hope you all had a Happy Valentine's Day!!

I was just about to harass you about not getting a Valentine yet, and then I thought 'maybe I should walk out to my mailbox first' and sure enough...there it was. ;) SO CUTE!!
