7 Years

... and no itch yet! ;) Don't worry. I'll spare you the mushy gushy stuff, as much as I'm sure you want to hear it all. :P

Steve and I celebrated our 7th anniversary this month, March 7th. We just happened to be in Chicago that day, so we didn't really do much celebrating of it this year. In fact, we both forgot it was our anniversary until Grandpa Sonnenberg mentioned it to us after church that day. Oops! Good thing we both forgot so we couldn't really be mad at the other! ;)

We did buy each other a gift once we were back home and life resumed as normal... I bought Steve some clothes because he's always in need of that. I'm pretty sure he likes them since he wore them again this week the second they were washed. He bought me some awesome shoes that I had been wanting. Shoes and accessories are about the only thing I'm interested in when I'm pregnant.

Here is Scarlett modeling them this morning... she may just love them as much as me.

The leather is like butter. Seriously. Just what a preggo girl needs. :) Thanks, babe. Perfect for our date night tonight.

Night Out

We had such a good time last night at The Melting Pot. We don't get up to SLC often to go there mostly because it's not really the best place for small children since there are hot surfaces and raw food on the table and any given moment... so we take advantage when we are kid-free (and lately that hasn't been often!).

Just a couple pics from dinner...
Glad Steve is so cooperative with me and my camera. ;) I managed to sneak by the whole night without my flash (I really didn't want to bring it) so you get a little noise instead since that place isn't the brightest lit place to eat in the world.
Cheese! Yum. My favorite was the apples.
Our main course... filet mignon, lobster, salmon, pork, chicken, ravioli, etc... I think I need to go back there already.

This photo speaks for itself... but I do need to say that the pot in the background contained milk chocolate and crunchy peanut butter. mmmm!

And us, at the end of the night... I've decided after making my mom take several photos that I'm just at the stage now where there is no good angles. ;) 8 weeks and counting for this little no-name boy!

The kids didn't miss us for a second... they played with Grandma and Grandpa all night! :)

P.S. My Mac has a date with the genius bar tomorrow night... he needs some tender loving care, I think, before we're back together again. So, until then I'm stuck on my laptop... hope it's nothing serious because I'm tired of the laptop already!

6 years

Steve and I have been married 6 years today. How quickly time passes!
That was then...
This is now...
It's amazing to look back over just the last 6 years and see how much we've accomplished together. Our children being one of the greatest accomplishments so far. I'm so lucky to have found the perfect guy for me and I look forward to many, many more years together.

It was so fun to have our good friends, Devin & Jen and their little girls Paityn & Presley as well as Nate & Meri and their little one, Solee, come for dinner tonight! Thanks for coming, guys! We had a great time and look forward to doing it again! :)

I really should have gotten my camera out... sometimes in fun situations like that I like to just live in the moment for once instead of having to capture it. However, tonight about 10 minutes ago, I was kicking myself for not pulling it out when I had realized that I posted a video today, but not a picture! ;) That doesn't work so well for my daily picture post!

So, here are a couple pictures of my flowers that Steve brought me on our Anniversary on Friday. Daisies... ahhh, they just scream Spring and I'm really in need of that right now! :)
