Baby skin...

Aren't you jealous of the smoothness of baby skin? I love their soft skin and could kiss his chubby cheeks all day. His little smell on top of that just makes me enjoy spending my days with him.

Just a couple of snaps of Cohen hanging out the other night while the other kids were in the bath. You can tell the seasons are changing since I'm now breaking out my flash and trying to relearn it again. ;) Luckily it cooperated for me on this night. I'm in desperate need of a new one.

Cohen is getting to such a fun stage... He gets up on his knees all the time and for the first time this week, pushed up on his hands at the same time. Wondering if we'll have a crawler sooner rather than later. He is the happiest baby. Sleep is finally not a total mystery to us... Cohen actually can be laid down in his crib awake and will put himself to sleep for a nap. It's still hit or miss, but he did this for me today. Heavenly.

As fun as a scrawny little newborn baby is... the first 6 months is the hardest for me. I'm really looking forward to the next 6 months. However, I've still got to break him into the solids... just another thing that's a little rough at first. ;) I'm even going to attempt to make my own (baby food)... yeah, I'll keep you posted on that.
