Recently, Kanyon has found my stash of books that I bought throughout the elementary education program I was in and when I was student teaching... I figured that while I wasn't planning on teaching right away, I would always want them for my own kids to read too. And boy do they want to read them! I think that's been the latest fav activity of the day. I love that they both will sit with me and listen, even Scarlett!
The only problem that has arisen is that Scarlett clearly prefers one book. Mostly because she can help read it by yelling "NO!" ;)
It's become such a problem that I can't put it away without tears (Scarlett's, of course) and poor Kanyon just wants to read a different book.
As you can see in the photo, Scarlett is clearly not interested in "Parts", although it's one of the cutest books... instead she's demanding "No, David" yet again... Another example of Scarlett's fiery personality! ;) I do, in most cases, love it.
