My parent's left their guinea pig, lovingly named "the pig" or "piggy" or "pig-pig", with us for a week while they took a vacation with my brothers. Scarlett and Kanyon have enjoyed having the little rodent around and Steve has actually admitted that he didn't realize guinea pigs had such personality. I grew up with one or two as pets at different times, but I had also forgotten this. As soon as we'd open the fridge and there would be any rustling sounds (like we were going lettuce or a carrot out) "the pig" would start to squeak. Sometimes I felt bad when I was just getting a snack for myself... :P
Here is Kanyon feeding the little guy this morning.

We adore guinea pigs! We have two we get to play with when we pet-sit occasionally.
