Kanyon felt like the luckiest guy in the world Friday night when he joined mom and dad for "date night". And let's be honest... Steve has been waiting for this day for a very long time. He has dreamed of the days when going to a movie could fall into the category of doing something for your kids. ;) We went to dinner at Red Robin and then saw the movie "Kung Fu Panda". It was a cute movie and has some funny parts that even Steve and I were laughing about. Kanyon had a great time sitting and eating his entire king size bag of skittles. Uh, yeah, that was Steve's awesome purchase. :P I had to hide mine once he had polished off his own because he was telling me I needed to share. ;) Needless to say, he was a ball of energy when the movie was over. He sat pretty good though and had a great time.
Pictures courtesy of my good ol' Point and shoot camera. :) He saw the cardboard Ironman advertisement and had to have a picture by him. That obsession started with the action figure in his Burger King meal. ;) Don't you love how he's kind of standing like him?? haha! By the time we had driven home he was a little bleary-eyed and very much ready for bed.
