The birdie took it...

(day 93)

I was out running errands with the kids today and stopped at one place that had balloons at the checkout. They gave Kanyon one and he was so excited! We got out to the car and as he was standing by the car, his balloon popped up against our car. He was hysterical... I felt so bad, so back into the store I went to get him another one. We made it into the car alright this time and headed off to stop #2.

We left the balloon in the car so he wouldn't lose it in the store. We come out, and my arms are full with my purse and Scarlett. As I open his door, out flies his balloon faster than I could believe. Up in the sky it went and Kanyon was once again hysterical. I felt awful! This time it was totally my fault, but I have to say that even if my arms weren't full, I don't think I could have caught it, it was that fast.

On the way home, Kanyon is still crying and telling me that the birdie took it and that daddy is going to have to get in an airplane and fly up there and get it. Daddy can fix it, he says... :( Poor guy, he was so sad, but really believes that Daddy can fix anything. So, I'm debated about whether or not to text Steve a message to stop and pick up a green balloon for Kanyon. ;)

Oh, the hard lessons a 2 year old has to learn!

He cracks me up! I love his sweet little conversations! I could listen to him all day. I hope he is feeling better. Poor thing. Oh and I'm loving the painted toe-nails. Oh, the fun has just begun with a little girl. So adorable. I'm off right now to paint my own....thanks for the reminder! See you tomorrow night. Should be fun!

Haha, Lisa... for the picture all I did was ask him questions about his balloon and then ask him to show me his sad face. :D After I took it he goes (with a BIG grin on his face I might add), "I wanna see it!". My little actor. ;)
