Skiing!

(day 62)

So, I'll start off by saying that I am SORE! (even with a massage that we got this morning)

Two full days in a row of skiing when you've never done it before is overwhelming to say the least. I picked it up pretty quick, but had a couple of good falls too. Steve was so nice to slow down to stick with me... and pretty patient even when I was frustrated (or in other words, a bit snippy). ;)

I didn't bring my camera out the first day, as I was really concentrating. But the second day, Steve and I rode the lift all the way to the summit and took some pics before taking the lift back down to where we (or I should say I) were more comfortable.

Kind of a scary picture of Steve taking a rest at the top... right on the edge! Yikes!
Looking into Provo Canyon and Utah Lake in the background...

Just a fun wide angle picture of me on the lift... or I should say my skis. ;)
Steve showing his moves... this one is at 100% crop, so the quality isn't the greatest since I was so far away. I'm saving up for a new zoom lens. :D Hoping to have it by boating season!
It was a fun trip, a good break from the kiddos... but we missed them! It was fun to get home and see them so excited. This was our first trip away from Scarlett but she and Kanyon just adore their sitter and they had a ball with her. :)

Next time we're going to try snowboarding!

Oooo! It looks like you guys had a lot of fun and I'm glad that you have a great girl that can come and stay with your kids so you can do this. ;) I will have to call you to get all the details.

I am so jealous! This looks like so much fun! Your pics are fabulous as always. The one of your husband on the summit is scaring me!
