Grandma and Grandpa Jessee

(day 75)

It's been so fun today to have Steve's mom and Barry in town. Kanyon has been very excited for days and drew pictures to put on their bed for them when they got in late last night. They are in town until Monday when they enter the MTC (missionary training center) in Provo, Utah for one week before being shipped off and beginning their 18 month mission to Romania.

We went to dinner at the Pizza Factory as a missionary send off tradition. I went with Steve's family there on the day that he entered the MTC.... it brings back memories. :)

Later tonight, Kanyon and Scarlett got to enjoy their Grandparents...

We are soaking up as much time with them as possible... Scarlett will be Kanyon's age when they come home. So sad!

Thats awesome & sad all in one. Tell them THANKS for all they do & hope through email they can see the kids 'grow' !!!

I LOVE K's face of Gram taking a pic, like "WHOA thats a small camera compared to mommy's" ... LOL ;)

How special that they're spending this quality time with you all before they go. I hope their trip is positive and safe and all those good things!

PS...your new watermark looks so cute on these! It sort of looks like a little cute camera icon in a way. lol!

I thought the same thing about your new watermark - it looks like a little camera on these.

I'm so glad you all got to spend some time together before they go off. I'll be thinking of them!

Scarlett really hams it up for cameras! The joys of little girls! I see Kanyon is sporting a bandaid. I hope he's ok.

Jill - HAHA! Kanyon was like, what's that?? Grandma was like, Smile, and he's like? HUH?

Jenny - I know! I love that about the watermark too. :)

Stacey - Yes, Kanyon is fine.. that bandaid is protecting his little ear where the dry skin is splitting between his ear lobe and his face. :( We're having a hard time getting it to heal because he won't leave it alone. But, Spiderman bandaids heal everything. ;)

Sounds like they will have an awesome experience while they are away. I hope they will be able to see your blog while they are gone.
