Blurb Book

(Day11)
Well, I heard about this website - http://www.blurb.com/ and checked it out. It's a place where you can create a book out of your blog posts and pictures. (It downloads your posts and pictures so you don't have to copy and paste, etc.) I was pretty excited about this because I always wondered what I was going to do with all this I post about. I wanted a tangible copy of it, but printing it out page by page just didn't seem good enough. Problem solved now! :) I took my posts from Aug 2006 when I started blogging to Dec. 2006 and made a 74 page hardback book. It turned out great and I'm going to start working on my 2007 one now! Check it out, I'm sure you'll love it too! :)

Oh yeah, I forgot to add that it's fairly inexpensive... This is an 8x10 hardback book with 74 pages and it was only $39.95. :)

That turned out wonderful! What a great way to keep all those memories close by. Of course, what are you going to do when each kiddo wants one when they're older? Maybe multiple copies will be needed!

How awesome is that??? This could potentially replace "scrapbooking" all together, if we didn't love it so much! :)

Hey Meghan
Good to hear from you! You are the one that introduced me to the blogging world and I have loved looking at yours ever since! You do a great job, and I love this book you discovered! What a great way to keep your blogs.
Thanks for telling me about this, it took me a while to get started, but it's been fun. I can't believe the amount of people you can get in touch with through it.

I am so glad you posted about this. It's kind of funny because my husband and I were just talking TODAY about how I heard something about being able to print blog pages, but wasn't sure how. Thanks for the link!! I love the layouts - what a beautiful book! What a great price, too!

Stacey - you know, I didn't really think about that... but I do scrapbook and they have their own of that... so hopefully I can keep that up so they have something of their own!

Mical - yeah, it can't replace scrapbooking... of course! You know I can't give that up. ;)
