Our Weekend...

After being sick for the past couple of days, it's nice to be feeling almost back to normal! Because I wasn't feeling great, we spent Friday and Saturday nights digging out the Christmas stuff. I know, I know! I'm ususally a big time stickler on no Christmas decor out until the day after Thanksgiving (at the earliest), but it seemed like a good use of our time. ;)

Because this early decorating is not a typical thing for us, I'll save pictures of it completed until it's "officially" the Christmas Season. ;) Here is a teaser or two, however.

Don't you worry, that last picture's angle makes it look like little Kanyon is up much higher on that ladder than he really is. ;)

I don't usually enjoy the furniture arrangement that Christmas brings to fit the tree in, but this year I like what it forced us to do and I may just keep it after! We've been struggling to figure out the best layout since we got the new furniture.... which I've been meaning to take pictures of as well. I'll get to that and the basement since that's complete now too. :)

And... Here we are tonight, just hanging out. (well, Steve glued to his football game and me and the kids playing. :P )

Just a teaser?! I would be upset, but I will be up their to see in the flesh in a couple of days. I think that is the car we got Kanyon for this birthday. That is nice to see that he actually plays with it...you know you always wonder.
