Ahhh, I love the time of year coming up... I managed to squeeze this in yesterday afternoon with a little help from Kanyon, of course, and zero help from Scarlett. Although I'm sure she would have liked to be in on the action too.
What is it with kids and eating raw pastry dough?? Yuck. He enjoyed himself. I'm just a little disappointed in the pie... Steve wasn't of course, but I'm not sure he really knows enough about pies to be a good judge.
I forgot to put sugar on top of it and I think that would have made a world of a difference. Oh well... fall is still young! Many more pies to bake... (That is, if I can muster up the courage to attempt it again with the kiddos!!)
Did I mention I love Fall? :)

Ok, that's it.You make beautiful babies, you take pics, you cook, you decorate your house, you bake PIES! And do you ever have a bad hair day? If I didn't adore you so much I would probably come up there and mess up your kitchen.

yummm i think my mouth just watered. is kanyon's bandaid for real or just for fun? i wish i could still put on bandaids just for fun and not be a total retard...he's adorable
