Kiddie Kandids Boycott

I refuse to spend $80 on pictures that don't turn out cute... and only to get one 8x10 in one pose and just enough to send to the rest of the family. Blah.

So, I decided I would take Scarlett's 3 mo. pictures myself. She wasn't as cooperative as I would have liked in the only time yesterday that I had to take them (when Kanyon was napping), so I will probably try it again another day. But here are a couple cute ones I got.

Okay, so they're a little on the cheesy side, but cute. Oh, and the best part... they were FREE.

P.S. I've gotten a couple requests to see the entire nursery... so click here to see a post when I finished it back in March.

I'm always for sticking it to the man so I am proud of you. I agree with you. I've yet to see a Kiddie Kandid portrait of someone's kid that I've liked. I of course always say that I like it, but I'm usually lying. I will continue to lie so if any of you do show me a precious Kiddie Kandid pic of your little baby, don't trust my answer. Just sayin'.
Your pictures are honestly better. There's no props and I like that.

So cute Meghan. I would totally have you take Marley's pictures if you lived closer. The nursery was absolutely adorable. Good job! How was the reunion?

I feel the same way about kiddie kandids. They over charge for photos that really are kinda cheesy.
These photos of your little girl are so beautiful, you do a great job! Tell me how you learned photography, because you are really talented. Did you study it in school or just take a few classes? What classes did you take? I am interested in taking a class once I (someday) get my nice camera. :)
Your nursery is absolutely beautiful. You have great style!
Sorry for another really long comment....

Lillian - I have actually not taken any classes, although I would love to because I'm sure I would learn alot. I have read a little in books and just the manual for my camera. I also frequent a couple different photography message boards. If I have questions, they get answered there really quickly. :)
