Our first few days at home...

... have been filled with visitors, daily hospital trips for heel pokes, yummy dinners from wonderful friends and neighbors, and a little chaos here and there... but we are adjusting to our new family of 5. Kanyon reminds me daily that there are now 5 of us. I'm still not sure I believe it.

My dad and Cohen... he and my brother Trent came for a visit Sunday night.
Kanyon being that sweet big brother that he is. Always wanting to hold Cohen and telling me all the things he's going to teach him... it melts my heart.
Kanyon and his castle for Batman that Grandma Jill and Scarlett helped him build. He was pretty proud of it and requested a photo. I'll never argue with that. (he got a haircut today, by the way... it was out of control as you can see)

The kids and Grandma Jill (my mom) posing for a picture yesterday. Grandma had been over helping for the weekend and the kids loved every second.
Grandma and Grandpa Sonnenberg came by today to meet Cohen. It was fun to see them and Cohen was wide awake for them.

An update on our jaundice situation... we are still on the lights. :P I'm hoping to knock it out good tonight though and hoping the heel prick tomorrow is our last. I have such a patient little guy... he didn't even cry at today's heel prick. I am not so patient though and just want to hold and snuggle him whenever I feel like it. Is that too much to ask?
Have I mentioned what a binky lover this little guy is already? Look at that hold he's got on it. He never lets it go far.

I have to just say how grateful I am for my friends who, even though they witnessed my raging hormones today, don't think I'm a crazy person. ;) I promise I'll get my act together once again, soon.

Meghan. Tomorrow is Wednesday. I have no plans, other than having FHE with Trevor.

PLEASE let me know if you'd like an assistant! I promise I'll let you hold him while I play with the other two :)

Love you,
Alex

Love the sweet pictures w/ the grandparenys. Even if your hormones are raging, at least you are remembering to take pictures!

Ahh raging hormones! I had a total crying mental breakdown in Jamba Juice just a week after Emmett was born right in front of a bunch of strangers all because of nothing... really nothing! Any woman who has had a baby and man who knows a woman that has had a baby wont thing anything of it!

You have such a beautiful family, the new members and the not so new members :) I'm sorry you are feeling hormonal, it's so unfair that that comes with being a mommy again. I hope things settle down for you soon. Please let the people close to you help you when they offer. Enjoy every second, this time is fleeting.
