I knew this time would come... I had three brothers and a sister, so I know it's inevitable that sibling squabbles are going to come. However, it's been SO bad this last week between Kanyon and Scarlett. One minute they are happily playing together and the next it's world war III.
I know, hard to believe that these 2 sweet faces could be so crazy. :P But I promise you, sometimes they really are.
I need to come up with a trick to get it to stop, or at least tone it down a bit. If they are fighting over a toy/game/etc... then I take it away. But half the time it all happens when I'm nursing Cohen and they are up in their playroom and I don't know who did what. It's pretty frustrating...
Does anyone have any tricks they'd like to share??
I do have some good news, too... Cohen is officially off the lights. Yay!! They are packed up and awaiting pick up from home health. After his bilirubin was once again pretty much the same number yesterday as it's been for the last week, I called Cohen's doctor and he said it's probably just because I'm breastfeeding. He's old enough now (2 weeks today) that he can probably handle it on his own. Just one more heel prick tomorrow morning to make sure his level doesn't jump up and then we are good to go. What a relief...
I can finally just enjoy him without the added stress.
Had to include this silly face by Scarlett... she is so expressive, it's pretty funny. Her latest little trick is mimicking Cohen's noises. She gets such a kick out of it and we laugh too so you know she enjoys the attention. ;)
