Weekend in St. George

(day 89 - Saturday)

We were so excited for the invitation from the Bird's to spend the weekend with them down in St. George. We've really missed them since they've been spending more time down there. We left Friday afternoon after Steve got home and arrived in time to meet for dinner down there. It was so nice to be in the warmer weather since we were pulling out of our driveway with snow flurries earlier that day.

Here are a few pics from Saturday morning - bright and early because that's how our kids like to do it. ;)

We went swimming later that afternoon and it was warm enough that I even got a little sunburn on my shoulders. With it being her first time, Scarlett was not a fan... she was more content to hang outside of the pool. We'll have to break her in slowly this summer.
Kanyon and Paityn were a bit more daring, jumping off the side. Kanyon had no fear. I think he thought he was invincible.
This was a funny story... but I won't go into details. Let's just say that Kanyon was not happy at the moment! (love steve's face, like "what??")
Cute Paity in the hot tub. This was Kanyon's favorite part about the pool.

Little Presley just loungin'.
Jen being Kanyon's swim teacher. He wasn't so happy about trying the back floating thing...

After naps, we were all outside playing like kids on Paityn's little car she got for Easter. I was really wishing for my zoom lens at this moment.

Jen going down the hill...
Here's Steve taking a turn...
Talk about a view, right? It was a gorgeous house in a gorgeous spot off a golf course.

My self portrait for the trip... sorry about the squashed bugs. Haha! :)
Kanyon and I's turn... and I am having entirely too much fun. :P
Thanks to Devin for indulging me and my camera. I'm not sure I would think it was fun to have a friend that always had her camera in my face. ;)
Such a cute family... and Presley is getting so big and so cute!

Later that night after dinner we drove out to Tuachan and walked around for a few minutes. It's really pretty there with all the red rock. We're hoping to get down to a show there this summer. :) The only picture that even remotely turned out because by this time everyone was trying to get away from my camera. :D

Thanks guys, we had a blast!! We will certainly take you up on the offer again!! :)

Meghan,
Your hair is so long. I am jealous.
I just chopped mine 4 months ago, but, I am already wanting long hair again. I might do the hair extension thing again!!!!
That WARM weather looks so nice. Do your friends have a place they own there?

Looks like so much fun. L's doctors office has those plasma cars in the waiting area and the kids LOVE them. We are actually thinking about getting L one for her birthday, they are so much fun even for us parents. LOL
