Doing Better...

(day 29)

We're home. Kanyon is doing a lot better, and Home Health brought us a nebulizer to give him breathing treatments from home until he gets rid of this cold he has that started the mess. He's a little tired and cranky from lack of sleep at the hospital but is breathing much better.

I'm so proud of my little guy. Every single nurse/respiratory therapist/doctor in the hospital that dealt with Kanyon commented on how sweet and willing he was to be treated. I guess you don't have many 2 year olds that will put up with wearing the mask for the 10 minute breathing treatments and it's a fight every time or that will take their medicine without even protesting. It's not to say he enjoys it, and here is proof of him at home this afternoon with the dino mask in action. ;) Love the face...

Thanks to all the offers for help and I even had dinner brought to me... My sweet neighbor, Nikki! I'm exhausted and I can honestly say that I look forward to nothing else but my bed tonight. ;)

I'm so glad that he's doing better! That's great that he's so willing to take his treatments, even if he doesn't like them... you're raising a great little boy there!

Oh no. I haven't been checking in with stuff a lot lately so I had no idea this was going on for you and poor Kanyon. I am glad he's getting better, and I hope the Neb treatments begin to work. I didn't like them when I was a kid, so snaps to Kanyon for tolerating it!

What a sweet heart. I have been meaning to take a pic of Aiden w/ his nebbie on too.

Kanyon has such a "worried" look on his face. It is so cute. =)

Lisa - I heard! That's so scary... I'm glad you're back home with him. This is a hard time of year for the little ones and sickness. :( I hope Tyler doesn't have to deal with asthma, but if so, we'll be pros over here with it enough to be of some assistance if you do have to deal with it!

Poor guy! That must be terrifying as a mom. My sister has been dealing with breathing problems with Jackson too! WTF? I hope that he's back to normal soon!
