Major emergencies always seem to happen when Steve is away on business... we joked about it before he left this time, but didn't realize I would end up with this on Tuesday! Kanyon was playing in the mudroom and tripped on some shoes. He sliced his chin open on the tiled bench in there. I have never seen him so rigid with pain, it was so sad and a little gory. I took him to the instacare and they confirmed that he did need stitches. I had to help hold him down while the doctor stitched him up and that was awful! I just cried for him... He got 7 stitches. We have to go back to get those out and I'm informing Steve that he can take care of that! I'll just be there to love him when it's over...
